General Requirements

1. Your passport, valid for at least 6 months.
2. One passport-sized photo (attached to application form).
3. One visa application form.
4. If you are a U.S. alien resident, provide a copy of your Green Card.
5. A letter of introduction from your employer or sponsor
   stating the purpose and duration of your trip,
   sponsorship information and financial guarantee for
   expenses that you will incur in Afghanistan.
6. Self-addressed pre-paid envelope or $18 for FedEx delivery.

FEES

Payment options for a single-entry visa good for a one month stay:

- Visa processed within 24 hours: $150.00
- Visa processed in 3 days: $110.00
- Visa processed in 2 weeks: $90.00

Long-term, single entry visas processed in 1-2 days:

3-month stay visa: $180.00
6-month stay visa: $250.00

Return mail: please include a self-addressed pre-paid envelope or $18 for FedEx delivery.

Additional Visa Information

The Embassy of Afghansitan usually issues a single entry visa valid for entry for 3 months from the date of issue and valid for a stay in Afghanistan of up to 30 days.
A multiple entries visa valid for one year may be requested by business visitors only.
